ST. CLAIR TWP., Ohio - Agents with the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force (MVHTTF) alongside multiple local law enforcement agencies conducted a search warrant at a St. Clair Township home in a human trafficking investigation.

According to a press release, the search was conducted Sunday at a home on the 1600 Block of Gilpner Avenue. The St. Clair Township and East Palestine Police Departments assisted with the search.

Agents say the search was connected to a male suspected of committing prostitution and other sex-related crimes dating back several years including crimes potentially involving minors offering sex for hire and a female being trafficked to the individual for sex in exchange for drug money.

According to the release, the crimes occurred while this male lived in East Palestine and then continued at his current home in St. Clair Township.

Agents recovered numerous electronic devices, as well as drug paraphernalia and suspected narcotics.

No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
