LIBERTY TWP., Mercer Co., Pa. - A car slid off a slippery road and into the water in southeast Mercer County early Tuesday.
A Pine Township rescue squad and State Police were called out shortly before 9 a.m. after the car veered off North Liberty Road just south of Grove City.
The car became stuck in a marsh area just off the road in water up to the vehicle’s doors.
State police at the scene said the driver escaped through the car's sunroof and wasn’t injured.
Crews hooked up a cable and pulled the car back onto the road.
