A Youngstown restaurant is closing its doors for now, due to the ongoing road construction project downtown.

Prima Cucina made the announcement on Facebook Friday afternoon:

"Our downtown location is temporarily closed until the construction project is complete and the city reopens for business. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time."

Prima Cucina is actively working on a second location named 'Bar Cucina' on Mahoning Avenue in Austintown, where the Upstairs Restaurant used to be. An opening date has not been set, but the restaurant says it will use this time to focus efforts on Bar Cucina.
