YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Penguin City Brewing is preparing for it's 3rd annual Oktoberfest.

The event is planned for September 21, beginning at noon at its location at 460 E Federal Street in Youngstown.

The Oktoberfest will benefit the Rotary of Youngstown's Operation Warm initiative which has provided warm coats to school children in Youngstown for the last 10 years.

Proceeds from each Apple Cider Mule will go toward providing new winter coats to Pre-K to 6th grade students.

Below is a list of events so far:

  • Limited edition Penguin City Oktoberfest mug release - 12 p.m.
  • Vendor Village featuring more than 40 vendors - 12-6 p.m.
  • Heroes & Tiara's Snow White and Prince Charming - 1-3 p.m.
  • Stein Holding Competition - 3 p.m.
  • Live music by The Zolka's - 7-10 p.m.
  • Stein Holding Competition - 9 p.m.

Lena's Pierogi House will have food available during the event.

Oktoberfest is dog and family friendly.
