CANFIELD, Ohio - Families in Canfield got to enjoy a breakfast with Santa while raising funds for the Rowan Sweeney Memorial Foundation.

Admission to the event was $15 with the money going to the Rowan Sweeney Memorial Foundation, which was established by David Sweeney following the murder of his son Rowan back in September of 2020.

Sweeney says the event is now in its fourth year and aims to raise funds for an all-inclusive playground for the community.

"We try to host an event every Christmas for the children and parents [and] interact with the community. We like to bring the community together [and] give them something to do while raising funds for the playground, which will also give back to the community," Sweeney said.

In addition to breakfast, guests were also treated to story time with Santa, as well as a basket raffle and holiday crafts.
