COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - A lake in Columbiana County will be drained for repairs in the fall.

Zepernick Lake, part of the 518-acre Zepernick Wildlife area, was last drained in 1986 and the outlet pipe for the dam has been deteriorating.  This means the lake has to be drained in order for it to be fixed.

Once the repair is done, Zepernick Lake will be restocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish.

There is no timetable for when the repair work will be completed.
