YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Local police and federal authorities teamed up Friday morning to arrest a Youngstown armed robbery suspect.

Gregory Richardson II was taken into custody after Youngstown Police and U.S. Marshals converged on his vehicle on West Boardman Street.

"We've been looking for him since last Friday. Over the course of the week we got some tips and found out about a person he might be with,  this morning we located the vehicle and were able to arrest him safely right here in downtown," said Dan Devilld of U.S. Marshal Service.

Authorities say Richardson was wanted in connection to last Thursday's armed robbery in the Casa Loma Gardens' parking lot.

Richardson is suspected of taking a woman's car and wallet outside of the Mahoning Avenue bar just after 1:00 a.m.
