An Orwell woman is facing charges after allegedly kicking a Warren Police Officer in the face Wednesday morning.

Police say they were called to the Convenient Food Mart in reference to a woman who was standing behind the store screaming and appeared to be on drugs.

According to the police report, officers found 30-year-old Tiffany Uher behind the store on Elm Road.

Police say when the officer pulled up to Uher he asked if she needed help and she just walked away. He tried to communicate with her again and she gave a false name and Social Security number.

The police report states Uher was placed under arrest. She started to yell and kick uncontrollably when the officer was walking her to the cruiser.

Authorities say she put her feet up on the frame of the car, preventing the officer from putting her in the back seat. The officer tried to put her in the car again and she was kicking and yelling.

Police say Uher kicked the officer in the face, injuring his jaw.

The police report states the officer also injured his hip, knee, and ankle in the struggle to get her in the cruiser.

Officers say when she was transported to the Trumbull County Jail, she was still giving a false name.

Police found Uher had a felony burglary warrant for her arrest out of Geauga County.

Uher has been charged with falsification and assault.
