Liberty police tell 21 News they removed six dogs from deplorable conditions on Thursday afternoon.

Police found the animals after receiving multiple calls about dogs running loose in the area.

One caller described one of the dogs as a nuisance and said it was acting aggressively.

Police located the dogs and tracked them back to a home in the 1000 block of Churchill Hubbard Road.

It was then that police removed the dogs from what they say were deplorable conditions.

The dogs are now in the custody of the Trumbull County Dog Warden.

It is unclear at this time if any charges will be filed about this incident.
