GM set to invest millions to expand truck production at Indiana facility
According to the release, GM has invested more than $1.2 billion in the Fort Wayne plant since 2015.

ROANOKE, IN - General Motors has announced that they are making upgrades to their Fort Wayne, Indiana assembly plant.
According to the release, the upgrades will increase production of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500.
GM says sales of the trucks are up 20% compared to the first quarter of last year and predict that the trend will continue into quarter two.
The $24 million investment will be used to enhance the plant's tooling to support the bump in sales.
