A Youngstown man has been sentenced to five years in prison and six years supervised release for dealing heroin and violating the release conditions of a previous drug conviction.

United States Attorney Scott W. Brady announced Wednesday that 46-year-old Frank Christian was sentenced for violating the federal narcotics law.

According to court documents, Christian possed heroin with the intent to sell on or about February 22, 2016.

Court officials also said that this violated the conditions of a prior release from a previous federal drug trafficking charge.
