Youngstown police investigating man shot in leg overnight
Youngstown police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured. Just after midnight on August 22 police arrived at the 1200 block of Aberdeen Drive in response to a shooting victim. According to the report, the victim told police he was sitting on his couch when he heard gunshots. After he heard the gunshots, he stood up and was shot in his legs twice. YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown police are investigating an overnight shooting that left one man injured.
Just after midnight on August 22 police arrived at the 1200 block of Aberdeen Drive in response to a shooting victim.
According to the report, the victim told police he was sitting on his couch when he heard gunshots. After he heard the gunshots, he stood up and was shot in his legs twice.
Police say that the victim did not know who would have shot him in the leg or who would have wanted to shoot him.
The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.
This is one of three separate shootings that happened on the night of August 22.
