Second motorcyclist dies after Mecca Township crash
The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed Wednesday that 48-year-old Shanna Thomas died.

The second motorcyclist in a Mecca Township crash over the weekend has passed away.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed Wednesday that 48-year-old Shanna Thomas died. She was the passenger riding the motorcycle with 53-year-old James Thomas, who passed away Saturday.
The Saturday accident remains under investigation. It happened around 1:40 p.m. on Route 46 just north of Mahan Denman Road.
An 87-year-old North Bloomfield resident traveling southbound in a Chevy tried to turn left into a driveway, hitting the motorcycle that was traveling northbound, according to the OSHP.
James and Shanna were both thrown from the motorcycle.
The 87-year-old was not hurt.
