I-76 open again in Mahoning County

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Mahoning County, Ohio - As the morning rush hour began Monday morning drivers began to find out that they had to contend with black ice on area bridges.
At around 6 am authorities were investigating several traffic accidents in the Valley.
Two multi-vehicle crashes were being investigated on Interstate 76 in Jackson Township between the Ohio Turnpike and Bailey Road interchanges.
A tractor-trailer and three other vehicles were involved in the westbound crash. Four vehicles, including a U-Haul trailer were involved in the eastbound accident.
Westbound and eastbound traffic was backed up in the area and traffic was detoured until 8:30 am. An ambulance was sent to the crash scene.

In Mercer County, first responders were called to Interstate 79 southbound near Grove City where a driver was trapped in his overturned tractor-trailer.
