Newton Falls man arrested again, indicted for alleged sex crimes against children

No longer wearing the beard he sported when he was first booked into the Trumbull County Jail on May 5, a 75-year-old Newton Falls man was arrested again Wednesday after a grand jury indicted him for alleged sexual crimes against children and possessing child pornography.
Ronald Kendra, 75, is charged with seven counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor and four counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.
Kendra was first arrested earlier this month by the Newton Falls Police Department when the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit, served a search warrant at Kendra's Woodglen Avenue home.
Released from jail three days after his first arrest, a bench warrant was issued for Kendra's arrest following his indictment.
As of Thursday Kendra remained jailed awaiting arraignment before a judge in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
