Newton Falls man arrested again, indicted for alleged sex crimes against children

WARREN, Ohio - No longer wearing the beard he sported when he was first booked into the Trumbull County Jail on May 5, a 75-year-old Newton Falls man was arrested again Wednesday after a grand jury indicted him for alleged sexual crimes against children and possessing child pornography.
Ronald Kendra, 75, is charged with seven counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor and four counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.
Kendra was first arrested earlier this month by the Newton Falls Police Department when the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit, served a search warrant at Kendra's Woodglen Avenue home.
Released from jail three days after his first arrest, a bench warrant was issued for Kendra's arrest following his indictment.
As of Thursday Kendra remained jailed awaiting arraignment before a judge in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
