Ohio Edison is working to restore power to a handful of customers in Campbell after wires were pulled down Friday morning.
Police were called to the corner of Wilson Avenue and Tenth Street just after 9 a.m. where they found a utility pole in several pieces and wires laying across the road.
Officers believe that in addition to power lines, an AT&T communication cable was also pulled down.
Campbell Mayor Nick Phillips says the phone lines in city hall out not working, including the police and fire departments.
There's no word yet on what caused the pole and lines to come down.
According to the FirstEnergy website, fewer than five customers lost power. Repairs are expected to be completed by late morning.
