YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Chief Executive Officer of Youngstown City School District was awarded a 3.22 out of 4 on his annual performance evaluation by the Youngstown City School District Academic Distress Commission.
Announced on Thursday, September 2, the evaluation included Justin Jennings' relationship with the Academic Distress Commission, community relations, staff relations, instructional leadership, business and finance.
Jennings scored 3 or above in all the former categories, and the commission applauded Jennings on his advocacy for scholars and families.
The Academic Distress Commission also awarded Jennings with a 10,000 dollar bonus in accordance to his contract. The bonus is paid by the Ohio Department of Education.
