Valley Partners administering Mahoning County another Small Business Relief Fund

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Valley Partners will be issuing another round of Small Business Relief Fund grants thanks to an award from Mahoning County Commissioners through their ARP funds.
The $1 million grant fund will be disbursed through grants to small businesses in increments of up to $10,000 each. Eligible small businesses must be located in Mahoning County and show a revenue reduction of at least 25% from 2019 to 2020.
In addition, Mahoning County Commissioners have also awarded Valley Partners $2 million to create a revolving loan fund, which will offer short term, lower interest rate financing to help businesses get through their current economic crisis.
For all first-time grant recipients, applications will be accepted starting Monday, Nov. 1, and a week later on Nov. 8, applications will then be accepted for all other businesses. Grants will be awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis.
According to Teresa Miller, Executive Director of Valley Partners, hotels and restaurants were hit the hardest due to COVID. Miller says while these businesses are recovering, funds like this are still a huge help to get them back on their feet.
The application can be found on Valley Partners' website. Just click the "Mahoning County Small Business Relief Fund II" banner at the top of the homepage.
