One of fourteen men arrested last Fall in a human trafficking sting in Mahoning County is being sent to prison.

Nathan Lucas, 38, of Hermitage was sentenced on Thursday to 1 year in prison and five years probation. In addition, Lucas must register as a Tier Two sex offender.

Lucas, who pleaded guilty earlier to charges of attempted importuning and attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

According to Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, Lucas was among 177 people arrested a year ago as part of a statewide human trafficking operation dubbed "Operation Autumn Hope."

As part of that operation, Yost said that federal, state, and local law enforcement had rescued 109 human trafficking victims, including 45 children.
