Indictment accuses Warren man with unlawful sexual contact with Niles teen

A Warren man has been charged with committing a sex crime against a girl from Niles.

WARREN, Ohio - A Warren man has been charged with committing a sex crime against a girl from Niles.

The Trumbull County Grand Jury on Monday handed up a one-count indictment charging 21-year-old Joseph Snyder with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

The charge stems from an investigation by Warren Police into an alleged March 30, 2021 incident involving a fifteen-year-old girl.

When Snyder was arrested in April, he was also charged with corrupting a minor with drugs. That charge was dismissed a month later

Snyder is scheduled to appear in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court on December 22 for arraignment on the indictment.
