A restaurant in Columbiana County celebrated one year of business on Friday.

Renovatio's Taproom & Restaurant in East Liverpool not only celebrated one year of business, but also celebrated its business thriving despite opening up in the midst of a pandemic.

Restaurant co-owners, Randy Schneider and Craig Cozza both say remaining open during a pandemic was challenging but thanks to community support, the business was able to survive.

During Renovatio's first year, Schneider and Cozza put back thousands of dollars into local nonprofits and charities such as East Liverpool Schools, Beaver Local Schools, the Hancock County K9 Unit, East Liverpool Police and Fire Departments and the Rich Center for Autism at Youngstown State University.

Schneider and Cozza expressed their gratitude for the support throughout Renovatio's first year in business and looks forward to more to come in the future.
