VIENNA TWP., Ohio - The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County wants to know who is responsible for breaking a window at the animal shelter.

According to a police report, Tuesday morning employees discovered a broken window and a large rock. They say it appears someone used the rock to break the glass. It's not clear if the suspect(s) was trying to enter the shelter.

Employees also tell police, whoever is responsible, pushed the camera that was facing the door upwards to block it's view.

The Animal Welfare League posted pictures to Facebook and have asked anyone with information to contact the AWL or Vienna Police.

They are also asking for donations to help replace the window.

In a post to social media they say, "It is so unfortunate someone would do this to ANY business but especially when the funds to fix this vandalism take away from helping the animals of Trumbull County!"

According to the police report, the damage is estimated at $500.
