Youngstown City Council will meet remotely Wednesday, June 15, after last week's emailed threats against council members.
The meeting can be viewed on the City of Youngstown website, by clicking 'watch council video.' The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Youngstown Police are investigating the threat made via email to Youngstown City Council Friday, June 10.
21 News spoke with Council President, Thomas Hetrick, who confirmed that there was a threat.
The email stated that the suspect intended to take an AR-15 and hunt down council members.
The email singled out Hetrick, as well as 7th Ward Councilwoman, Basia Adamczak and listed both of their home addresses. The email ended with the message, "Who knows what I'll do. Either way, prepare yourselves."
