YSU's Cohill named Horizon League Co-Player of the Week

Youngstown State senior Dwayne Cohill has been named the Horizon League Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. Cohill shares the weekly award with Wright State's Trey Calvin.
This is the third time Cohill has earned the weekly award this season and the fourth time in his career. He is the first player in YSU history to be named Horizon League Player of the Week at least three times in a season.
Last week, Cohill led the Penguins to a 76-65 road victory over Central Michigan on Dec.21. He scored a game-high 26 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the floor and went 3-for-4 from 3-point range and 5-for-5 from the free-throw line. He also collected three steals.
The Penguins return to Horizon League play and to the Beeghly Center to host Cleveland State Thursday, Dec. 29. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. and is part of a basketball doubleheader with the YSU women's basketball team.
