Youngstown man sentenced to life without parole for Warren robbery, murder

WARREN, Ohio - A judge in Trumbull County Common Pleas court on Tuesday sentenced a Youngstown man to life in prison without parole for murdering a Warren man during a home burglary.
Earlier this month a jury found 26-year-old Ronieque Requel guilty of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, having weapons while under a disability, intimidation of a witness, and receiving stolen property.
Requel was arrested after Warren police were called to a home on the 2100 block of Milton SE on February 5 to investigate a reported burglary with shots fired.
Inside the house, they found the man who lived there, 28-year-old Adam Spaid, had been shot several times. Spaid was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Requel has been in the Trumbull County Jail since his arrest in February.
