For the first time ever in November, Youngstown Flea will be open this upcoming weekend. 

The flea is holding a special market, to help support local, downtown businesses that are struggling due to construction. 

Youngstown Flea Founder Derrick McDowell says because it's the 4th quarter of 2023 and a critical time for businesses, he hopes this will be a boost as they into the new year.

"If the Youngstown Flea happening this Saturday can draw folks to our downtown and then send them to a bar, a restaurant, or to visit one of the other amenities downtown that gets one more person, one more entity the support they need, we will do it," said McDowell. 

There will be over 75 vendors, food trucks and is also pet friendly. 

The flea opens Saturday, November 4th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on 365 East Boardman Street.
