A pickup truck veered off East Indianola Avenue and struck a utility pole near Homestead Avenue late Wednesday.
One person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The pole snapped, bringing down wires and cutting power to homes in the area.
The road was closed at the crash scene as a FirstEnergy crew worked through the morning to restore electricity.
