Mercer County gets $93K grant to develop fiscal plan
The grant will be used to hire a consultant that will help develop a five-year financial and operational plan to strengthen Mercer County's financial capacity and stabilize its tax base.

Mercer County, Pa. - Representative Parke Wentling announced in a press release Wednesday that Mercer County has received a grant for $93,750 from the Department of Community and Economic Development Strategic Management Planning Program (STMP).
"This funding will help Mercer County develop a plan to support the county finances and set up a strong fiscal plan moving forward," said Wentling.
