WARREN, Ohio - The Warren Family Mission was packed with diners on Friday for the Mission's annual Easter dinner event.

This year, the Mission served up hot meals to 2,482 people with 1,637 meals being delivered, 350 served for carryout guests and 495 served to guests dining in at the Mission.

Warren Family Mission Director of Public Relations Dominic Mararri tells 21 News the Mission expected to serve about 2,000 people. With more meals being served than expected, volunteers had to go back into the kitchen to prepare even more food.

Nevertheless, all guests were served an no one was turned away.

Guests got to enjoy a meal of ham, pineapple sauce, green bean casserole, corn, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy and dessert. Children also got to meet the Easter Bunny and receive a basket full of Easter goodies.
