One of the owners of Sharon Speedway has died.
Ronald Kirila Sr., 86, passed away in Greenville Thursday evening.
Kirila was part of a group that bought Sharon Speedway in 2002 along with NASCAR driver Dave Blaney, Jim Weller Sr. and his brother Bill.
Along with his brothers, he founded Kirila Contractors in the 1960s.
Calling hours are being held Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lane Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel in Brookfield.
